Engel & Völkers Sint-Martens-Latem was one of the main sponsors of the benefit concert organized by the Lions Club Gent Gandalys from the 25th of March untill the 27th of March.

The featured artists were “SCALA & Kolacny Brothers”, a world renowned Belgian girls choir, conducted by Stijn Kolacny and arranged and accompanied by Steven Kolacny on the piano. Formed in 1996 and winning the Belgian ‘Choir of the Year’-contest in 2000, they have made five studio albums, starting with On The Rocks in 2002. The benefit concert was spread over 3 days with 1 performance a day.  The venue, a local peugeot and volvo dealership was transformed to a concert venue, seating around 600 people and was completely sold out. Because it was the last concert of “Scala & Kolacny Brothers” in Belgian, they flew back from New York just to give this concert, before kicking of their USA and CANADA tour. The E&V Sint-Martens-Latem team was present on the first of three concert evenings, to admire the powerfull voices of the singers as well as to mingle and give away 200+ GG’s to the attendees.

Engel & Völkers Sint-Martens-Latem was one of the main sponsors of the avant-premier organized by the Ladies Fifty-One on the 20th of March 2011.

The local movie theatre, Kinepolis Ghent, was rented out to accomodate around 400 ladies (with spouses) of the serviceclub Fifty-One Ladies Gent.

They were all present to watch The Adjustment Bureau in avant-premier together. The screening was preceded by an aperitief as well as a promotional slideshow of the main sponsors. In that slideshow the guests were able to see the ad underneath on the huge movie theatre screen.

The Ladies Fifty-One club also used the opportunity to donate 3 cheques, with a value of 2500 euro each, to 3 different charities.
